Roblox on Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, SteamOS) Compatibility Guide
Roblox on Linux does not possess a native desktop release; the Windows Win32 client is intentionally blocked by Byfron/Hyperion anti-tamper under Wine/Proton, while community solutions run the containerized Android client via Sober Flatpak.

Why Roblox Blocked Wine and Proton on Desktop Linux
In mid-2023, Roblox Corporation deployed the 64-bit Byfron (Hyperion) anti-tamper system to combat exploiters and script injectors. Because Wine reimplements Windows NT kernel APIs in user space without true Ring-0/Ring-3 kernel isolation, Hyperion cannot reliably verify memory integrity on Linux. As a result, Roblox engineers intentionally restricted Wine/Proton execution.
